Since 2001, Ohio business and residential electric customers have had the right to choose their electric generation provider. Regardless of who supplies the generation, the local utility will continue to provide the delivery of electricity.
Your local utility is a regulated provider, while DPL Energy is unregulated, and therefore can offer special rates for electricity generation with a contract that fits your needs.

Entelligence, a power monitoring product of DPL Energy, helps companies better understand how they use electricity. Entelligence indicates when and where power is consumed and allows companies to track the impact of operational changes because, “What Gets Measured Gets Managed.”
Demand Response compensates customers for having the ability and willingness to curtail during critical times on the grid. Demand Response programs can only be provided through a certified Curtailment Service Provider (CSP) like DPL Energy. The Demand Response program can only be provided to customers that are in the PJM service territory.
