  • Who will I receive my bill from? Will I receive two bills?

    You’ll continue to receive a monthly bill from Dayton Power & Light. In most cases, this bill will contain our charges as well, and you will only receive and pay one bill. A small number of large business customers receiving specialized rates may receive two bills (one from Dayton Power & Light and one from DPL Energy Resources).

  • Is there a fee to sign up with DPL Energy?

    We do not charge an account establishment fee. However, your current electric provider might. Check with Dayton Power & Light and any other alternative generation and transmission provider you are using to see if they charge a switching or early termination fee.

  • When will my new price begin?

    Your savings will begin with the utility meter reading date after the utility processes your enrollment.  Typically, you’ll see the savings on the bill you receive approximately six weeks after accepting our offer.
